Happy Birthday, Beatrix Potter! Storytime at The Curious George Store
The late, great Beatrix Potter, creator of Peter Rabbit, was born July 28th, 1866. She published over 23 books. Peter Rabbit first appeared in 1901 in a self-published storybook for her friends and family, and was later introduced to the world at large the next year. To celebrate what would be her 148th birthday we will be reading stories about Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, and other famous rabbits. For our craft, we will make rabbit ear headbands.
