The National Gallery has chosen to focus on his art in relation to music, one of the most popular themes of Dutch painting. The cinema event provides a comprehensive biography of Vermeer and shows in detail many of the artist's great works.

Hosted by art historian Tim Marlow, Vermeer and Music: The Art of Love and Leisure ventures beyond the gallery with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
