The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a mile-and-a-half of contemporary parks located in the heart of Boston. The Greenway, a roof garden atop a highway tunnel, connects people and the city with beauty and fun. The non-profit Conservancy maintains, programs and improves the Greenway on behalf of the public and in partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Greenway hosts over 300 programs and events each year, as well as organizing an award-winning Mobile Food (Truck) Vending program featuring 30 plus vendors, the Greenway Carousel offering rides in a unique experience for $3 from early April through December and 7 interactive fountains for cooling off from late May through mid-October.
