Need an excuse to escape for a mini vacation? You will be glad to hear what is brewing in the coastal city of Newburyport, MA.
Savor Newburyport, presented by The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, will be just as delicious and exciting as it sounds! It is a 10-day celebration highlighting Newburyport’s exceptional food, drink, shopping, and cultural experiences. From September 17^th to 26^th Newburyport will host a range of events including innovative dining experiences, unique restaurant and shop pairings, savory sales, and fitness classes.

The celebration will unfold on Newburyport’s historic waterfront at the Savory Waterfront Gala. Guests will mingle while tasting dishes and drinks from local restaurants. The ocean view alone is divine and the food and drinks will surely steal  a foodie’s heart.

Shoppers will have a chance to shop until they drop! Retail shops will highlight their fall and winter merchandise with Savory Sales and promotions throughout the ten days. The Screening Room and Firehouse Center for the Arts will provide shoppers a place to rest during the three-day Newburyport Documentary Film Festival, including after-parties and Q&A sessions with the filmmakers.

Looking for a unique food experience? Award-winning chef-owner of Andiamo Restaurant + Bar, Jim Rogers, will show attendees how to become a connoisseur of Italian food with a hands-on 3-Course Lunch and Cooking Demo on Saturday, Sept. 19th.

Ladies, save room for dessert! Orange Leaf will host a Ladies Night including mini makeovers, massages, lotion and oil samplings, and deals on jewelry and
accessories, with proceeds going to No Kid Hungry.

Behind each brick corner of the quaint city of Newburyport is a new shop and a new story. Make history and join locals and visitors alike in exploring its cuisine, art, and culture during the first (with many more years in store) Savor Newburyport.
