Cape Cod Pilgrimage II bicycle tour

Spend a week biking along the beautiful Atlantic Ocean shoreline. We'll visit historic sites from the days of Colonial America, explore quaint shops in friendly places on Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, and view the seaports, glacially-formed "kettle ponds," and lighthouses of southeastern Massachusetts. Every day is spent within 15 miles of the Atlantic, and each night close to a large body of either freshwater or saltwater. And if you go, don't be surprised to find yourself living the lyrics of Patti Page's famous ode, "If you like the taste of a lobster stew, served by a window with an ocean view, you're sure to fall in love with old Cape Cod."

This tour is suitable for all riders, and makes a great choice for anyone looking to learn the basics of self-contained touring. The riding is quite easy -- except for one longer day where you'll test your limits -- the services are plentiful and the campgrounds outstanding. We would rate this a beginner-plus self-contained tour that has plenty to offer the experienced cyclotourist as well.
