The Salem Cross Inn is a restored 18th century farmhouse nestled on 600 acres of New England countryside. Though it is rich with history, the house, turned restaurant and tavern, offers seasonal menus with traditional fare alongside what today's dining public is looking for. The Salem family is proud to say that everything is prepared fresh each day while incorporating heirloom vegetables and herbs grown in our own gardens.
Home to the ever popular Fireplace Feasts where prime rib is roasted using an antique clock jack in the field stone fireplace, you can roll up your sleeves and join in the fun. Help make apple pie, stir the chowder, take a horse drawn sleigh/wagon ride, then warm yourself by the fire and sip mulled wine or cider. We also host our famous Drovers Roasts, Dinner Theater and Christmas Memories. New England weddings and family events are another specialty.
