On January 18, right in the heart of Downton Abbey's fourth season on PBS, join Vanity Fair writer David Kamp, who profiled Julian Fellowes at length for the magazine, for a lively, lighthearted talk about his conversations and experiences with Fellowes in England. Kamp will also discuss how Fellowes' work--not only Downton Abbey, but also his novels "Snobs" and "Past Imperfect," and his Oscar-winning screenplay for Robert Altman's film "Gosford Park"--is informed by such Wharton books as "The House of Mirth," "The Age of Innocence," and "Old New York."To reserve tickets for the event, purchase online or call 413-551-5100. The cost for general admission is $10; Mount members are admitted free. Because space is limited and we anticipate a full house, reservations are strongly encouraged.
