Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to stop by the A.D. Makepeace Company cranberry bogs on October 12 and 13 for the 10th annual Cranberry Harvest Celebration. The festival, which features old-fashioned activities and whose admission fee includes bogside demonstrations and cranberry-related activities, was designated as one of the Top 100 Events in North America for 2013 by an experienced expert tourism industry selection committee. Inclusion in the Top 100 list indicates that the Celebration offers excellent entertainment value to both tour groups and individual travelers from around the world, according to the survey's sponsor, the American Bus Association. This month, the Celebration is listed as one of six top fall food festivals in Yankee magazine.
