Are you new to the world of digital photography, or still don't feel you're getting the most from your digital camera? This workshop is designed to help you understand the features of digital cameras, and, if nature allows, use the landscape and creatures of Broadmoor to practice techniques to help improve your digital photography. We'll review topics such as optical and digital zoom, white balance, ISO, and resolution. In addition, we will cover proper lighting, focus, depth of field and composition. Then, we'll preview software that will help enhance and crop your images to create stunning prints. A great way to prepare for upcoming winter vacations! Beginners are welcome. Pre-registration required. Online registration available. About the instructor: An experienced wildlife photographer, Joy has been teaching photography programs at Broadmoor for the past 11 years including a variety of both indoor and outdoor classes.
