Home to one of the most comprehensive collections of American art in the world, the Addison Gallery of American Art presents about 12 wide-ranging exhibitions each year, including paintings, sculpture, works on paper, photography, and video. Located on the historical Phillips Academy campus, the museum is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Addison is closed Mondays, national holidays, December 24, and the month of August.
