This is the site of the first successful integrated iron works in North America, which produced both cast iron and wrought iron from 1646 to 1668. The site has a reconstructed blast furnace, forge, rolling and slitting mill, black smith shop, and a restored 17th century house. Grand reopening May 16 and 17.
