640-acre hardwood forest that is open year-round. With an extensive trail system, 7 rocky hills with vistas of Boston, southern New Hampshire, and central Massachusetts, the reservation offers hours of enjoyment just 12 miles north of Boston. There is fishing in Silver and Pearce Lakes, with fresh-water swimming available at Pearce Lake, and birdwatching along the Saugus River and throughout the reservation.
