You may have seen him a few times. Maybe he unexpectedly popped up on your computer screen and took your photo. Or, maybe you’ve seen him having fun in the snow – sledding, snowboarding, or having a snowball fight (on your computer screen).

If so, you’ve probably said to yourself, “Who is that squirrel?”

Well, that squirrel is Mott, and he is one very interesting Massachusetts native.

Mott is a gray squirrel, he enjoys squirrel stuff like gathering nuts and climbing trees, and fun stuff, like taking advantage of all the amazing things Massachusetts has to offer.

Ice skating, tubing, and sledding are just a few things Mott has tried his paw at recently. He likes to feel the wind through his tail while skiing in the Berkshires, and is proud to call himself a locovore. One day, Mott hopes to go hang-gliding, so he can see what it’s like to be a flying squirrel.

Since Mott knows Massachusetts like the back of his paw, his favorite thing to do is share his newest ideas for fun things to do. So, keep an eye on this blog for Mott, as he will be, in many ways, your guide through MassFinds.

Is there something in Massachusetts that you would love to see Mott experience? If so, please either tell us in the comments below, or Suggest a Find.
