WHAT: The Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism and the Massachusetts Sports Partnership has dedicated the week of February 14 to February 23 as Hockey Week, the first in the Commonwealth. Massachusetts’ two American Hockey League (AHL) teams, the Springfield Falcons and the Worcester Sharks, have joined together with six Hockey East schools to promote the sport throughout Massachusetts, as well as a fun and affordable outing for residents and visitors to the Commonwealth. Special stories highlighting both AHL teams and their players will be featured on www.massvacation.com.
