In 1997, the Massachusetts Legislature established the Advisory Commission on Travel & Tourism (ACT&T), which consists of representatives from 31 public and private organizations involved in the travel and tourism industry in Massachusetts Legislation. The ACT&T advises MOTT on its marketing strategies.
