Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum, home of John Burbidge's extraordinary collection Les Petites Dames de Mode, The Little Ladies of Fashion (1855-1914), invites you to join us on Wednesday, May 1, for an all-day trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to view the fabulous new exhibition Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity. This show presents for the first time the ways in which the Impressionist painters and their contemporaries interpreted fashion to communicate the idea of the " modern."
