Latin Grammy-winning band Bajofondo is a high-energy tour de force that blends Argentina's tango, Uruguay's milonga, rock, hip-hop, electronica, jazz, classical and a world of sounds from the Rio de la Plata. Bajofondo began as a one-off diversion in the studio for film composer Gustavo Santaolalla, who has won 11 Grammys and two Academy Awards for his original compositions created for The Motorcycle Diaries, Brokeback Mountain, 21 Grams and Babel. Bajofondo is touring in support of its new recording, Presente, released on Sony Masterworks.
