Home for the Holidays--An Open House and Concert
Dates: Sat, Dec 15, 2012
Times: 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Description:
Celebrate the holidays at Phillips House Museum when we warmly open our doors to the community. Free tours of the first floor will be available from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and visitors can learn about Salem Christmas traditions in the early twentieth century. After a tour, there will be hot cider in young Stevie Phillips' Playroom and special holiday sales in the museum shop.
From 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., join Jim and Maggi Dalton of Singing String Music for family-friendly holiday carols and parlor games. The concert is sponsored by the Salem Cultural Council as part of the museum's Leisurely Lifestyle of the Phillips Family programs. Tickets should be purchased in advance.
The open house and light refreshments are free. The concert is $10 for adults, $5 for children and students, and free to Historic New England members. Please call 978-744-0440 or visit www.HistoricNewEngland.org to reserve a space or for more information.
