Puppet Showplace Theatre Presents Puppet Shorts Class by Brad Shur!

Description:
n this course, participants will create six short performances using different puppetry styles each week. The class will learn formal critique methods to analyze and improve each others' work. Through this intensive process, participants will improve their technical and creative skills, and will be on their way to creating a body of work suitable for short-form and slam puppetry performance. "Puppet Shorts" is an intermediate-level class: while participants do not necessarily need to have extensive puppetry experience, familiarity with the basics of theatrical performance is assumed. Participants will be expected to work on performance projects outside of class time and to participate actively in class.
