Join us for the festive opening of Howard Pyle: American Master Rediscovered, the first comprehensive critical assessment of one of the nation's most important visual storytellers. Organized by the Delaware Art Museum, the exhibition explores Pyle's unique contributions and the artistic styles that inspired his art, from Pre-Raphaelitism, Aestheticism, and Symbolism to American realist painting. His powerful portrayals of pirates and historical and literary themes continue to spark our imaginations.
