Maritime Adventure Week

Dates: Mon, Aug 6, 2012 ~ Fri, Aug 10, 2012
Times: 9am to 3pm

Description:
Kids aged 10 to 15 have the wonderful and unique opportunity to work with Plimoth Plantation's maritime artisans--the talented dedicated crew who maintains and preserves Mayflower II. During their week, kids will row and sail the shallop, climb rigging, and even build a skiff--from layout to construction. As a special highlight of the week, kids will spend the night onboard Mayflower II! Some days will be spent on Mayflower II, other days will be in Plimoth Plantation's Marine Shop. Participants bring their own lunches and snacks, and should wear sturdy shoes each day (no sandals or flip flops please). $325 per child; $265 for members. For more information or to register, call 508-746-1622 ext. 8359 or email programservices@plimoth.org.
