Times: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Description:
Surrounded by brilliant fall foliage, Old Sturbridge Village demonstrates the hard work of a New England harvest and celebrates the resulting plentiful bounty. Visitors can learn to plow behind the Village oxen, and try their hands at digging potatoes, threshing grain, husking corn, shelling beans, harvesting apples and pressing cider - all important activities to early New England farm families who had to store enough food in the fall to last the winter.
