Saturday, March 16 Activity: Yarn Bombing | 10 am - 4 pm | Atrium Learn how to make a design with yarn and stitch it onto our collaborative masterpiece. Demonstration: Rabbit Fur Spinning | 11 am - 2 pm | Atrium Louise Walsh from Evergreen Farm makes yarn straight from a fluffy rabbit sitting on her lap. Studio Discovery: Wet Felting | 11 am - 3 pm | Bartlett Gallery Learn a quick and easy way to make beautiful felted artwork from wool. Story Time: Sheep on a Ship | 11 am | East India Marine Hall Join PEM Pals storyteller Heather to find out what happens when sheep try to take a trip on a ship. Film: Wallace and Gromit in A Close Shave | 11:30 am | Morse Auditorium Demonstration: Sheep Shearing | 1 - 3 pm | Armory Park, across from PEM entrance Kevin Ford demonstrates the historical technique of blade shearing. Please check pem.org/calendar 24 hours in advance for cancellations due to weather. Gallery Spot: Spinning Flax into Rope | 2 - 3:30 pm | East India Marine Hall Join our museum educators to learn how flax fibers were spun into rope for sailors.
