A Bug's Life

Dates: Sat, Mar 2, 2013
Times: 1:00 PM

Description:
ArtsEmerson: The World On Stage presents A Bug's Life. Pixar's second animated full-length feature film focuses in on the insect kingdom. Flik is one of the thousands of ants in his colony, all of whom work infinitely. He feels like an outsider to the group, but all of the ants have at least one thing in common: a fear of the grasshoppers which plague their colony every year. But this year, Flik accidentally destroyed the food supply the ants keep to offer up to the grasshoppers. With no real way out, the misfit becomes brave and begins organizing ant warriors to fight against the evil grasshoppers and be rid of them once and for all. The colorful insects are voiced by the acting talents of Kevin Spacey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Dave Foley and Denis Leary, among others. Full of Pixar's signature charm and distinct warmth, this story can be enjoyed by bugs of any age, no matter how small.
