ArtsEmerson: The World On Stage Presents: Syndromes and a Century In this charming "memory film," Thai director Weerasethakul portrays an imagined representation of his parents' romance in two parts. The first is told from his mother's point of view several decades ago when his parents would have actually met, and the second from his father's viewpoint in a more present-day environment. The result is a stimulating look at the nature of love, how it affects others, and how it endures over time.
