"Red Baraat is the best party band I've seen in years." --Bob Boilen, NPR Music Brooklyn-based Red Baraat has made a name for itself as one of the best live bands playing anywhere in the world. Led by Sunny Jain, the nine-piece party band, composed of dhol (double-sided barrel-shaped North Indian drum slung over one shoulder), drum set, percussion, sousaphone and five horns, melds infectious North Indian bhangra rhythms, funk, go-go, Latin and jazz.
