Visit Salem for 17th Century Saturdays and see why the Historic New England's Gedney House is not your typical historic house tour. The Gedney House is an architectural masterpiece that spans four centuries of construction and social history. View original woodwork and paint treatments while learning about traditional building practices and family histories throughout the years. 17th Century Saturday tours will be taking place August 4, September 1, and October 6. The Gedney House is open from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with tours on the hour. The last tour leaves at 3:00 p.m. The museum is located on 21 High Street in Salem, Mass. Admission is free for Historic New England members and Salem residents and $5.00 for adults.
