Arterial Challenge 5K & Walk

On Sunday, May 27, 2012, The Brain Aneurysm Foundation will host the 11th Annual Arterial Challenge, to raise research funds and awareness of Brain Aneurysms. More than 300 participants are expected to take part in the 5K road race and 1.5 mile walk which will take place at Humarock Beach in Scituate, MA. Registration for the event is online at www.bafound.org. Registration is $25.00 and includes a T-shirt for all who preregister by May 14, 2012. Participants can also register on the day of the event at 8:00 AM at the town parking lot at 4 River Street, Humarock, MA. The 1.5 mile walk will kick-off at 9:30 a.m. and the 5K road race begins at 10 am. The Arterial Challenge provides an opportunity for individuals to meet with other brain aneurysm survivors and caregivers, remember and honor a loved one, support brain aneurysm awareness, as well as enjoy a day with the entire family. In addition to the walk, the event features a Kids Fun Zone, with face painting, interactive activities and games. Individuals are encouraged to seek 10 sponsors of $10 each or develop a team of at least ten people to participate in the event.
