Known for its highly charged and theatrical choreographic style, Prometheus Dance is one of Massachusetts's most outstanding and enduring modern dance companies, named one of the Year's Ten Best in Dance by The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald and the Boston Phoenix several times over. Led by artistic directors Diane Arvanites and Tommy Neblett, the ensemble will perform Heart of the Matter, a world premiere and the company's fifth evening-length piece in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Free preperformance talks with dance critic Debra Cash 30 minutes prior to curtain. Free postperformance Q&A with the company Friday, May 17.
