Times: Opening Reception Thursday, November 15, 5:30 - 7:30

Description:
Beginning November 15th and running through December 24th, 2012, the Copley Society of Art is proud to present Holiday Small Works, adorning the walls in both the upper and lower galleries. A public reception will be held at the ColSo Gallery, located at 158 Newbury Street in Boston, on Thursday, November 15th from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Featuring work from our membership of over 350 artists, Holiday Small Works is one of Co|So's most treasured exhibitions. This traditional holiday show offers affordably priced small works in a variety of media including, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and one of kind prints. Among the countless works by prized Copley artists will be Robin Samiljan's encaustic nature series, Ellen Granter's famous perched birds and Jim Connelly's oil paintings of iconic Boston landmarks. Additionally, many newly admitted artist members will contribute their small works for the first time, so keep your eyes peeled for our freshly represented artists. Pieces from Co|So's Holiday Small Works are perfect additions to growing art collections, as well as thoughtful and unique gifts for the holidays.
