On May 11, 2013, guests will have a unique opportunity to visit several historical sites in a custom bus tour titled "Voices Echoing Throughout the Blackstone Valley." During the early 1800's women played a key-role in shaping our nation, fighting for freedom and taking care of the home front. This tour in the Blackstone Valley will bring visitors to some of the sites where these women spoke, meetings were held and business was conducted. Stops include the Quaker Meeting House in Uxbridge, the Asa Waters Mansion in Millbury, Liberty Farm (home of abolitionist Abby Kelley Foster) in Worcester, Daniels Farmstead in Blackstone, and Chestnut Meeting House in Millville. All of the sites are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tours depart at 8:30 from Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI. You can reserve your spot online (www.toursne.com, click on tour 10) or call 800-454-2882.
