One of the "youngest stars of the guitar world" (New York Times), guitarist Jason Vieaux is highly acclaimed for his effortless technique and the range of color in his playing. He performs in both recitals and with symphonies around the country and serves as chair of the guitar department at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Whether it's interpreting a Bach suite, transcription of a Piazzolla tango, or jazz standard by Pat Metheny, Vieaux's virtuosic playing has been described as "spun magic," creating cinematic vistas with a single instrument.
