Description:
Impoverished aristocrat Dorothy Stacpole is faced with the dilemma of what to do with her decaying stately ancestral home, with no ideal solution in sight. Sell its valuable contents to a shadowy group of complacent, wealthy men? Donate it to the National Trust and subject its history to unrelenting scrutiny? Turn it into an adult film set? Celebrated playwright Alan Bennett (Madness of King George, The History of Boys), through satirical social commentary, offers up "classic Bennett comedy with a Downtown tinge" (Daily Express).
