The 11th annual Independent Film Festival Boston (IFFBoston) will take April 24-30 at the Boston area's most historic arthouse cinemas. IFFBoston has been recognized by the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, and Boston Phoenix as the premier film festival in the Boston area. Over 20,000 people attend the annual celebration of film. Roughly 100 films are screened for the first time in the area. There are weekend panel discussions and nightly parties. Most films are followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker and cast. Past guests have included Steve Buscemi, Kevin Kline, Michael Cera, Ira Glass, Jesse Eisenberg, Sir Ben Kingsley, Lili Taylor, John Waters, John Hawkes, and GIRLS creator Lena Dunham. You can see films by buying individual tickets or by purchasing an all-access pass to the entire festival.
