Many industrial innovations took place at the Springfield Armory over the years, including interchangeable parts, greater use of machinery, and the concept of assembly line production. Jen Zazo's presentation will take a closer look at some of the rare pieces in America's largest collection of military shoulder arms from the nation's first federal armory, authorized by President George Washington in 1794.
