New Salem Preserves is nestled in the hills of western Massachusetts, overlooking the Quabbin resevoir. We have two small orchards which are 125 years old, with McIntosh and other heirloom apples. We press our own sweet cider, made without preservatives, have sun-cooked strawberry, raspberry, blueberry preserves, and apple butter, as well as cider syrup and apple cider vinegar. During our harvest season,, from mid-September to Thanksgiving, we make our own cider donuts, and serve hot mulled cider in our barn/showroom.
