The Amesbury Sports Park boasts the steepest snow tubing hill in New England and has up to 12 lanes of snow tubing in winter months. In warmer months, the Park is home to extreme obstacle foot races such as the Spartan Race, Warrior Dash and Run For Your Lives - a zombie infested 5 k obstacle race. The Park also offers "sphering" (it's like a hamster ball for humans that runs down the longest zorbing / sphering lane in North America) and summer tubing. Annual events include the Brew Fest, Spring Splash & Big Air Competition, and various concerts and festivals. Artificial turf fields are available to rent for various sports including soccer, lacrosse, rugby, football and more.
