Reveals the history of Boston's 19th-century African-American community. Guided walking tours offered by the National Park Service daily, Memorial Day through Labor Day, other times by special request. A self-guided tour map is available from the Museum of Afro-American History and from Boston African National Historic Site. Only the Museum of Afro-American History's African Meeting House and Abiel Smith School may be entered. Other sites are private residences and are not open to the public.
