We added up the total number of stores in Massachusetts, and we’re pretty sure it’s over a billion. Boston’s Back Bay is headlined by two malls in the heart of the city: the upscale Copley Place and the always-bustling Prudential Center. Just across the Charles River is the CambridgeSide Galleria, with three floors, over 100 stores, and moorings for those that like to travel to the mall by boat. The Square One Mall in Saugus has almost a million square feet of retail space, Legacy Place in Dedham has an exceptional line up of restaurants plus the Showcase Cinema de Lux that lives up to its name, and the Natick Mall has more stores than any other mall in New England. Yup, that’s definitely at least a billion stores.
