Novice Rock Climbing Clinic

Soar to new heights with this small-group, rock climbing course in western Massachusetts. Zoar Outdoor is a short drive from several excellent climbing areas, so there’s lots of time “on the rock.” The clinic emphasizes top-rope climbing where the rope is anchored by the instructor at the top of each climb. Students learn to climb and belay as well as to move smoothly and with minimal effort on the rock.

“My First Road Bike” Camp

This three-day mini-camp will cover the finer points of road riding. You will learn how to ride in pacelines, echelons, and groups. Climbing technique, descending skills, and road etiquette will be demystified. Your days will be spent executing specific skills and workouts, and evenings will include short seminars explaining the techniques and goals of each day. Most of all, you’ll have a great time cycling in one of the best spots in the world to enjoy it.
