Simon Bolivar String Quartet
The Venezuelan quartet, originating from the famed El Sistema, has become one of the most exciting groups anywhere on the scene today. Their Boston debut will be much anticipated as they perform a compelling selection from both the traditional and modern repertoire.
"There are some obvious facts about this quartet, such as that they come from Venezuela, from the El Sistema family, that they were - and still are - the principals of the Simon BoliÃÂvar Symphony Orchestra, but what you'll experience new...is the unique power of their music making." - Gustavo Dudamel
