Doo Wop 10: Summer Spectacular

For the first time, Todd Baptista's legendary DooWop series comes to The Z in the summertime!

Travel back to the days when rock'n'roll was young, music was fun, and doo wop harmonies sprang from the street corners! The Z's popular series returns with a special summertime helping of classic 1950s' and early '60s hits and smooth, soulful harmonies from the original men and women who made the records and keep the magic flowing! A three-hour authentic live concert extravaganza featuring a treasure trove of doo wop pioneers performing the hits they made famous! Starring Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Shirley Alston Reeves, original lead singer of the Shirelles ("Soldier Boy," "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," "Mama Said"), the Mystics ("Hushabye"), Eddie Rich and the Swallows ("Will You Be Mine," "Beside You") and the Solitaires ("Walking Along," "The Angels Sang") with Jack Colombo's Coast To Coast Band.
