Focusing on a collection of letters from our archives by Private William S. Robbins of Plymouth, the exhibition illuminates his trials during the war in camp and on the battlefield. Private Robbins's story will be supplemented by rare Civil War artifacts from the collections of Pilgrim Hall Museum and other organizations, highlighting various aspects of a soldier's life.
