Blueberry Day

Celebrate our native blueberry at the height of the season. Enjoy a homemade blueberry dessert served in the historic Jam Kitchen from 11am to 2pm along with a demonstration of old-fashioned blueberry jam making. Fee for dessert is $4. From 1:00pm to 3:00pm, drop in on a demonstration by P.J. Hamel, author of the King Arthur Flour cookbooks and a long-time King Arthur test kitchen baker. Ms. Hamel shows how to bake fast and easy cream shortcakes, scones and Welsh cakes, perfect for your fresh-picked blueberries. Bring all your baking questions for her to answer as well.
