Are you ready to get healthy? Grow your garden? Dance and stretch? Play outside? Find your personal wellness at the LoWellness Festival on Saturday, April 26th, at Lowell National Historical Park's Boott Cotton Mills Museum Complex. The event is free and open to all from 1pm to 5pm.
Healthcare professionals from Lowell Community Health Center will offer free on-site health screenings, and staff from Lowell General Hospital will also be on hand to talk about health and wellness programs offered. Get your hands dirty with gardening demonstrations from Mill City Grows, learn how to cook healthy snacks throughout the day, enjoy active games for the whole family and walks along the riverway with the Lowell Parks & Recreation Department and Lowell National Historical Park, and take in high-energy performances by the United Teen Equality Center and the Angkor Dance Troupe, and check out lots more fun and healthy activities!
