    Opening on April 18th, the first day of the Cambridge Science Festival, is a new photography exhibition at the MIT Museum. In the U.S. for the first time will be, Daguerre's American Legacy: Photographic Portraits (1840-1900) from the Wm. B. Becker Collection, an exhibition of 19th century daguerreotypes, tintypes and other prints, all showing the range of American portraits taken during an era when these new photographic technologies were just becoming accessible and popular.
