Join The 2013 deCordova Biennial artists Pat Falco, John C. Gonzalez, and J.R. Uretsky as they discuss the varied ways in which mischievous tactics are utilized in their work. The artists exploit various aspects of the art world through dialogical methods that implicate the viewer and the venue: Falco explicitly pokes at the museum distinction between high and low art categorizations, Gonzalez pulls the curtain back on labor exchange and studio art practices, and Uretsky destabilizes the artist-curator/artist-employer relationships by penetrating the private spaces of those involved in the New England art scene.
