    By the seventeenth century, blue and white ceramics encircled the globe. Visit Eastern, Central, and Western Asia, Europe, and the Americas in this talk, which pays particular attention to Asian and European blue and white ceramics at Codman House, including Chinese and Japanese porcelain, a dinner service with the famous Blue Willow pattern, and a dinner service from Denmark. Lecturer Elizabeth ten Grotenhuis is professor (emerita) of Asian and Japanese art history at Boston University.
