A renowned historical fiction writer, Sally Cabot Gunning has authored The Widow's War, The Rebellion of Jane Clarke, and more. Her latest book, Benjamin Franklin's Bastard, brings to life a little-known chapter of the American Revolution--the story of Benjamin Franklin and his bastard son, and the women who loved them both. The book tells the story of William Franklin, who was born in secret to his father's favorite mistress and raised by Benjamin Franklin's wife. The cost to attend the program is $10 per person ($8 for OSV Members), which includes a reception with light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
