The fully supported Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride offers cyclists intimate views of this special coastal region. The 75- mile route begins at Horseneck Beach in Westport, winding along the coast and through farmlands, coastal villages, New Bedford's waterfront, cranberry bogs and along the back roads of Cape Cod, ending at scenic Quissett Harbor in beautiful Woods Hole. We provide rest stops with food, beverage, toilets and bike support, as well as lunch and a celebratory picnic at the Finish Line. On-the-road support includes bike mechanics, maps, route markings and first aid. This fundraising event supports the work of the Buzzards Bay Coalition to preserve and protect this environmentally important region. Each participant is required to raise $300 prior to the event. Register online at www.savebuzzardsbay.org/ride. For more information, contact Storey Duff at 508-999-6363 x236 or duff@savebuzzardsbay.org.
